Sixth Form

We are very proud of our Sixth Form. It provides a place for students to grow and expand their horizons as well as offering an execellent academic environment.

Our purpose is to inspire, to encourage students to fulfil their potential and to become confident and independent young people as they move on to University and beyond. Our Sixth Form comprises a mixture of students – both from home and abroad, each with a unique contribution to share with their peers and the school as a whole. Ours is a vibrant Sixth Form, whose members offer a wide variety of perspectives and talents.

We offer a traditional A level and international university foundation program and for the IUFP, is six subjects and a final projects. Teacher-pupil ratios are excellent; classes are taught in small groups, enabling close working relationships.

Results are strong with the majority progressing to their first choice university. Students also benefit from a lively enrichment programme of lectures, seminars, visiting speakers and practical sessions covering a wide range of topics and issues.

Beyond their studies, students play an active part in the life of the school, taking on many leadership roles of responsibility. They act as school prefects and play a particularly important role with younger pupils, encouraging and coaching in a variety of House competitions.
